Falling on the first Wednesday of April: April 1, 2026, this day is a dedicated call to end the cycles of child abuse and neglect. It is a day of remembrance for us and for the millions of children whose voices have been silenced by early adversity.
The Ritual of Light: We invite our community to light a candle in a prominent place. This serves as a physical symbol of hope and a beacon for those still navigating the trauma of their past.
The Moment of Silence: At the heart of this day is a moment of silence to honor those we have lost and those who are still fighting to be heard.
[02] SAAM: 25 YEARS STRONGER
April 2026 marks the 25th Anniversary of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). This milestone is not just about awareness; it is about the structural progress we have built together over two and a half decades.
The 2026 Theme: We stand with the official theme: "25 Years Stronger: Looking Back, Moving Forward".
The Mission: This anniversary celebrates the resilience of survivors who have turned their trauma into a foundation for a safer future. Our release of "Light Never Misses" is a contribution to this movement and a musical "node update" for the next 25 years.
[03] PASSOVER: THE JOURNEY TO FREEDOM
At sundown on April 1, 2026, Passover (Pesach) begins. This festival is the ancient archetype of liberation and exodus.
Unbreaking the Chains: Passover commemorates the journey from slavery to freedom, a literal "unbreaking of chains".
The Concept of "Passing Over": It honors the moment when life was spared and a new path was forged out of the darkness. It is a time for reflection on our own circumstances and the choosing of freedom over internal bondage.
